Qualifications

• Active Colorado Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification, immunization credentials up to date.
• Experience in retail pharmacy operations and patient counseling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and recordkeeping.
• Fill and verify prescriptions and submit third-party claims.
• Consult with physicians, nurses, patients, and staff on medications and formulary options.
• Monitor storage, distribution, and inventory, including expiration dates.
• Document and report medication errors and support safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate drug accountability records and complete third-party billing.
• Administer immunizations and maintain required records and protocols.
• Support credentialing activities for pharmacy operations and payer participation.
• Oversee safe, compliant operation of the pharmacy under regulations.
• Coordinate pharmacy staff and provide clinical support in a retail setting.
• Manage prescription dispensing, regulatory oversight, and medication safety.
• Maintain active Colorado Pharmacist license and CPR/immunization certifications.

Responsibilities for a PHARM

• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, inspections, and recordkeeping requirements
• Fill and verify prescriptions and submit third-party claims
• Consult with physicians, nurses, patients, and staff on medication questions, formulary options, and cost-effective therapies
• Monitor storage, distribution, and use of medications and supplies, and track inventory levels and expiration dates
