Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (Allergy) for our Milburn Allergy Office. You will provide high-quality patient care, administer allergy injections, and educate patients while supporting a team that emphasizes the Ultimate Patient Experience.

Ideal candidates have allergy experience, LPN licensure, NCLEX-PN passage, CPR/AED certification, and strong computer skills. Flexible schedule with Monday–Friday availability and rotating Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Allergy experience preferred.
• Graduate from an LPN education program approved by the state Education Department.
• Pass the NCLEX-PN examination.
• Active LPN license in the state of practice.
• CPR and AED certifications required.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relations and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and care offered to patients and providers.
• Provide general care and education to patients in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including allergy shots, under supervision.
• Prepare supplies for allergy testing and treatments.
• Perform lung function testing (FeNO and Spirometry) with/without bronchodilators.
• Assist in interpretation of patch testing results and perform placement/removal as directed.
• Maintain the immunotherapy room with supplies and keep it tidy.
• Administer allergy shots and ensure a provider is on site.
• Record vitals and reactions, monitor patient safety during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR and ensure proper documentation.
