Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group in Delran, NJ, is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse - Allergy to provide high-quality patient care and education. The LPN will administer allergy injections, prepare supplies, and support immunotherapy services within a team.

The role requires previous allergy experience, LPN license, CPR/AED certification, and proficiency with EMR and scheduling systems. Schedule includes 30+ hours, Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an LPN education program approved by the respective state Education Department.
• Pass the NCLEX-PN examination.
• Active LPN license in the state working in required.
• CPR and AED Certifications required.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide general care and education to patients in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including allergy shots, under the direct or indirect supervision from a provider.
• Prepare necessary supplies for allergy testing and treatments.
• Perform lung function testing (FeNO and Spirometry) with and without bronchodilators.
• Assist in the interpretation of patch testing results and perform placement and removal as directed by an RN or provider.
• Maintain the immunotherapy room with necessary supplies and materials, ensuring cleanliness.
• Administer allergy shots and ensuring provider is on site.
• Observes, records and reports patients’ vitals and reactions to treatments.
