Job summary

Schweiger in Rutherford is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse - Allergy to provide high-level care and education to allergy patients, with prior allergy experience required. Schedule is 30+ hours weekly, Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within 7am–7pm.

Responsibilities include administering allergy shots under supervision, preparing supplies for testing and treatments, maintaining the immunotherapy room, and documenting vitals and treatments in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an LPN education program approved by the state.
• Pass the NCLEX-PN examination.
• Active LPN license in the state of work.
• CPR and AED Certifications required.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including allergy shots, under supervision.
• Prepare supplies for allergy testing and treatments.
• Maintain immunotherapy room and ensure cleanliness.
• Record vitals and patient reactions in EMR.
