Ohio Ent & Allergy Physicians seeks a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant Floats to support our Allergy team. The role combines administrative and clinical duties across Bethel Rd, Dublin, Delaware, East Broad, Westerville, Hamilton Rd and Grove City locations.

The CMA will administer injections under physician supervision, manage the shot room, educate patients, and assist with charting and triage. Prior experience and HIPAA compliance are essential; CPR certification is required.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of GE-Centricity practice management software and EHR beneficial but not required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
• Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment.
• Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system.
• Must know sterile technique.
• Adheres to all HIPAA privacy and security regulations and guidelines.

Mansioni

• Maintain shot room appearance, cleanliness and stock; restock as needed.
• Order supplies and manage Buy & Bill inventory for next appointments.
• Clean and sterilize instruments; maintain diagnostic equipment.
• Administer allergy and biologic injections under physician supervision.
• Organize refrigerator vials and log daily temperatures.
• Monitor monthly vial inventory and discard expired vials.
• Educate new patients on shot room policies; obtain signed consent forms.
• Observe patients 20–30 minutes after injections and record vital signs.
• Be knowledgeable of shot room medications and IT treatments.
• Check emergency medications monthly and reorder as needed; manage emergency procedures.
• Triage and manage patient and MD phone calls; update charts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Clinical Manager.
