Job summary

Catalina Snacks is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician for the 3rd shift in Lebanon, IN. The role focuses on maintaining the production room, keeping the warehouse clean, and overseeing waste management while performing sanitation and dishwashing duties.

PPE use, chemical handling, and safety compliance are essential. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in food sanitation, the ability to read SDS, and can operate sanitation tasks on tablets.

Qualifications

• Over 2 years of hands-on sanitation experience in a food manufacturing facility (FDA–USDA).
• Ability to read and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and related paperwork.
• Ability to perform sanitation tasks on a tablet device and maintain sanitation records.
• Ability to perform basic sanitation checks and adhere to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform allergen cleaning of automated production lines and sanitize all food contact surfaces.
• Comply with ATP testing, allergen testing, and sanitation standards; re-clean as needed.
• Prevent cross-contamination by separating NFCS and FCS surfaces.
• Supervise deliming and chemical dilution for dishwashing; prepare peracetic acid sanitizer.
• Operate the floor scrubber and maintain wash bay cleanliness.
• Maintain waste management areas and manage inventory of sanitation supplies.
