Job summary

GABLETEK is seeking a Controls Engineer for a 12-week on-site contract in Warren, MI, with transition to Auburn Hills as the project advances. You will program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC systems and support controls integration for new equipment builds.

The role requires hands-on experience with RSLogix/Studio 5000, strong electrical/controls documentation, and a willingness to relocate on-site for the duration of the project.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming (RSLogix/Studio 5000).
• Background in industrial controls, automation, or integrator environments.
• Ability to work onsite full-time for the duration of the 12-week assignment.
• Willingness to relocate onsite work from Warren, MI to Auburn Hills, MI as the project transitions.
• Strong troubleshooting and electrical/controls documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoot, and debug Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
• Support new equipment build, integration, and controls debug.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams across both site locations.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and controls documentation.
• Assist with commissioning and start-up activities as the project moves from Warren to Auburn Hills.
