Job summary

The Metropolitan Hospitality Group in Midland, WA is seeking a confident Café All Rounder with strong coffee‑making skills to join our friendly team. You’ll contribute across coffee and food service, delivering high‑quality barista coffee and welcoming customer experiences in a busy café.

This casual/temporary role offers Monday to Friday work, around 30 hours a week, with no weekends or public holidays required. You’ll join a supportive team prioritising work‑life balance and service excellence.

Qualifications

About the Role

We’re looking for a confident and experienced Café All Rounder who enjoys working across both coffee and food service.

You’ll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the café, with a particular focus on preparing quality barista-made coffee, while also supporting food preparation, customer service and general café operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and can confidently step into a busy café environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve quality barista-made coffee

About You

We’re looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and confident working in a café environment, with good coffee-making skills and a genuine passion for customer service.

You’ll ideally have:

• At least 2 years’ experience as a Barista or Café All Rounder
• Strong coffee-making and barista skills
• Experience with food preparation, including sandwiches, wraps and rolls
• A positive, team-focused attitude and strong work ethic
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• A Food Handling Certificate, or willingness to obtain one
• Current Police Clearance

Availability to work Monday to Friday, approximately 30 hours per week
