Job summary

National Emergency Management and Response seeks a reservist to join their Incident Management Team (IMT) and provide rapid response in emergencies across the United States. With a required background in emergency management and leadership, you will be part of an elite team helping communities during critical incidents.

The role is on an as-needed basis and requires a commitment to readiness for deployment in various emergency situations. You will be expected to perform vital incident responsibilities, maintain personal readiness, and support survivors in crises.

Qualifications

• Four-year bachelor's degree in emergency management or related field preferred.
• At least five years experience working for a government agency in a first responder capacity.
• Two years experience in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Deploy as part of an all-hazards IMT during emergencies.
• Support incident action planning and operational coordination.
• Maintain personal readiness to deploy within 6–12 hours.
