Job summary

Presbyterian Villages of Michigan is seeking a maintenance professional to build, install, repair and maintain machinery, equipment, building systems and outdoor environments across our properties.

Key duties include handling resident work orders, coordinating with outside vendors, inspecting facilities, and supporting HUD/MSHDA/PVM policy compliance. A valid driver’s license and 1–2 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license; HVAC/electrical/plumbing certification preferred.
• Ability to operate a computer and maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Receive resident work orders, evaluate work needed and complete assigned work orders within required time frame.
• Coordinate services with outside vendors and maintain required paperwork.
• Inspect grounds, facilities and equipment to determine repairs or maintenance.
• Assist supervisor with scheduling and unit inspections as required by policy.
• Inspect, operate, test, maintain and repair mechanical devices and machinery.
• Provide grounds keeping services such as landscaping and snow removal.
• Assist manager with invoicing and staying within budget.
• Attend meetings and training to stay informed.
