Mercedes-Benz of Marin in San Rafael, CA is seeking a skilled Alignment Technician to perform precision wheel alignments on Mercedes-Benz and multi-brand vehicles, using Hunter or equivalent equipment to OEM specifications.

You will mount and balance tires, inspect suspension and related components, perform pre- and post-alignment road tests, and contribute to the tire/alignment program to retain guests. This is a luxury Bay Area dealership offering competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of wheel alignment and tire experience.
• Proficiency with computerized alignment equipment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in high-end vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision wheel alignments on Mercedes-Benz and multi-brand vehicles using current alignment equipment to OEM specifications.
• Mount, balance, and install tires accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect suspension, steering, and related components during the alignment process.
• Perform pre- and post-alignment road tests to confirm vehicle tracking, handling, and safety.
• Support the service department's tire and alignment package program to drive guest retention.
• Document all work performed accurately on repair orders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform precision wheel alignments on Mercedes-Benz and multi-brand vehicles using current alignment equipment -- Hunter or equivalent -- to OEM specifications
• Mount, balance, and install tires accurately and efficiently -- supporting the store's tire package program and guest retention goals
• Inspect suspension, steering, and related components during the alignment process -- identifying wear, damage, or safety concerns and communicating findings to service advisors
• Perform pre- and post-alignment road tests to confirm vehicle tracking, handling, and safety
• Support the service department's competitive tire and alignment package program -- accurate, efficient work directly enables the store to offer pricing that keeps guests coming back
• Document all work performed accurately on repair orders

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of wheel alignment and tire experience -- dealership, independent shop, or tire center backgrounds all welcome
• Proficiency with computerized alignment equipment -- Hunter alignment systems or equivalent strongly preferred
• Mercedes-Benz or European vehicle experience a plus -- not required. Alignment fundamentals transfer across brands and we'll support your MBZ familiarity from day one
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy -- alignment work directly affects vehicle safety and guest confidence
• Able to work efficiently under the pace of a busy service department without sacrificing precision
• Physically capable of performing the demands of the role throughout the shift
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
