Job summary

Millennium Millennium is seeking a Compliance Associate to support the global Quantitative Trading Compliance program in New York. You will review trading teams under the Algorithmic Trading Policy and help monitor regulatory developments relevant to quantitative trading.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills suitable for senior management communications.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally at a regulatory authority, bank, broker-dealer, or buy-side firm.
• Experience addressing algorithmic or systematic trading matters; familiarity with model-based trading and execution algorithms preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Finance, Economics, or similar field with strong academics.
• Understanding of global financial markets and market structure preferred.
• Understanding of artificial intelligence and current regulatory focus areas.
• Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong ownership, ability to manage priorities, multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to develop presentation materials for senior management; proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the administration of the global Quantitative Trading Compliance program, including vetting and review of portfolio management teams under the Algorithmic Trading Policy.
• Monitor regulatory developments, industry initiatives, and evolving compliance expectations affecting quantitative trading.
• Conduct ongoing analysis to enhance the global Quantitative Trading Compliance program.
• Assist with regulatory examinations, inquiries, investigations, and other compliance projects.
• Support drafting and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
• Prepare and deliver compliance training materials.
