Job summary

Amazon's Alexa Mobile BI (AMBI) team seeks a data-driven BI Engineer to own analytics for Alexa+ on mobile, from adoption to retention. You will define success metrics, run cohort studies, and build dashboards used by PMs and senior leadership to steer the mobile roadmap.

You'll prototype AI-augmented analytics, automate reporting, and design data models in the Data Lake/Warehouse while partnering with product to shape go/no-go decisions and product launches.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab.
• Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.
• Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
• Knowledge of product experimentation (A/B testing).
• Experience with consumer or subscription product analytics, including adoption, engagement, retention, an

Responsibilities

• Own the metrics, datasets, and analytics for Alexa+ on mobile across adoption, entitlement, engagement, and retention.
• Run deep-dive cohort and retention studies across voice, type, and tap engagement.
• Build and maintain exec-facing business reviews and QuickSight dashboards.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate questions into metrics and inform roadmap decisions.
• Evaluate experimentation results and translate them into recommendations for launch.
• Help design and adopt agentic analytics workflows (AI-generated SQL, automated reporting, self-service analytics).
• Build ETL and data models on the Data Lake/Warehouse and ensure data quality and consistency for trusted metrics.
