Job summary

Amazon seeks a Business Intelligence Engineer to join the Alexa devices insights team in Washington. You will build large-scale reporting objects, develop ETL pipelines, and power dashboards using Tableau or QuickSight to influence product decisions.

You will collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and software developers to deliver end-to-end analytics, datasets, metrics, and analyses that drive business outcomes in a fast-paced, Day 1 culture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years analyzing data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau or QuickSight
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and ETL pipelines
• Statistical analysis using R, SAS, or Matlab
• SQL data extraction and Python scripting for modeling

Responsibilities

• Build ETL pipelines, data cubes and automated data flows.
• Develop Tableau or QuickSight dashboards and reports.
• Partner with product managers to answer key business questions.
• Own design, development and maintenance of datasets and metrics.
• Support analytical deep dives for business reviews.
