Job summary

Paradigm Max Q is seeking an ALD Intermediate System Administrator to support the Aviation Logistics Department IT infrastructure at Cherry Point, NC. The role involves maintaining servers, applications, and networks, plus managing user access and basic security to keep systems mission-ready.

The ideal candidate will provide tier-1/2 helpdesk support, ensure compliance with security policies, and assist with onboarding and mailbox management using AD and SAAR workflows.

Qualifications

• Active Directory administration, server and OS troubleshooting.
• Experience in a DoN/USMC aviation logistics IT environment.
• Familiarity with DoN cybersecurity/IA standards is desirable.

Job Summary

*** Contingent Upon Contract Award ***

Provides technical support for the Aviation Logistics Department (ALD) IT infrastructure in support of the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing's aviation readiness and deployable capability. Maintains and supports ALD servers, applications, and networks; manages user access and basic security; and delivers first- and second-level help desk support to keep ALD IT systems reliable and mission-ready.

Required Qualifications

• LCAT: Intermediate
• Position: Must be able to perform the PWS C.5.6 duties:
  • (1) System & network support - maintain, configure, and support ALD IT infrastructure including servers and software applications; diagnose and resolve network connectivity and hardware issues; monitor network performance to ensure reliability.
  • (2) User & security management - handle user access requests (SAAR forms), manage user permissions via Active Directory, implement basic security measures, assist with employee onboarding/offboarding, and manage OMB mailboxes.
  • (3) Technical & helpdesk support - provide first- and second-level technical support for workstations, printers, and other peripherals, escalating complex issues as needed. Must hold/maintain a minimum Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

• Active Directory administration
• Server and OS troubleshooting
• Experience in a DoN/USMC aviation logistics IT environment
• Familiarity with DoN cybersecurity/IA standards. (Desirable, not mandatory.)

What Success Looks Like

ALD IT infrastructure (servers, applications, networks) remains reliable and available; user access and permissions are processed accurately and on time via Active Directory/SAAR; onboarding/offboarding and mailbox management run smoothly; and tier 1–2 helpdesk issues are resolved or appropriately escalated, keeping ALD personnel mission-ready.
