Job summary

Mymlc in Missouri seeks a Physical Therapist (Outpatient/Inpatient) to evaluate, plan and implement rehabilitation programs under leadership, and provide patient and family education. You will participate in family conferences and ensure documentation meets accepted medical guidelines.

Education required is a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy. You must be licensed as a Physical Therapist in Missouri within 60 days and hold Basic Life Support within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy - Required
• Physical Therapist (PT) licensed in Missouri - Required within 60 Days
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required within 90 Days

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients referred by providers.
• Establishes goals that maximize the patient’s recovery.
• Plans a treatment program, using appropriate treatment procedures that will best accomplish the established goals.
• Implements the treatment program using approved procedures.
• Documents treatment procedures and the patient’s response to them on a regular basis.
• Responsible for treatment procedures, documentation, and supervision of physical therapy assistants, physical therapy students, and rehab aides, as appropriate.
• Participates in staff meetings, family conferences and interdisciplinary teams meetings, as appropriate.
• Participates in continual process improvement.
• Other duties as assigned
