Job summary

STG Inc. in Alaska seeks a Tower Technician I for on-site work on telecommunications towers up to 300 feet.

This seasonal, fixed-term role supports tower erection, antenna installation, grounding, and maintenance across remote sites, under the Project Foreman and with safety-first expectations. You will climb towers, perform general construction, install microwave systems, and collaborate with multiple trades while supporting project schedules and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years in construction field desired.
• Tower Safety and Rescue Certification required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform telecommunications tower construction and antenna installation at heights up to 300 feet.
• Follow Project Foreman directions and maintain safety standards.
• Travel to remote Alaska sites and work long hours in challenging conditions.
