Job summary

STG Inc, a Calista Brice subsidiary, is seeking a Tower Foreman to lead and supervise field activities related to telecommunications tower construction, microwave installation, and related civil work across Alaska. You will direct crews, coordinate with management, and ensure safety and quality on remote sites.

The role requires extensive on-site work in remote environments, travel up to 100%, and a focus on teamwork, safety, and efficiency to meet project specifications and timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five (5) years of telecommunications tower construction or related construction experience.
• Three (3) years of experience leading tower erection projects in remote or challenging environments.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and aligning microwave antenna systems required.
• Experience with waveguide installation and testing preferred.
• Current Tower Safety and Rescue Certification required.
• Current Rigging Certification required.
• First Aid/CPR certification required or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• CDL preferred at hire; required within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform telecommunications tower erection, structural modifications, microwave antenna installation, equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Install microwave antennas, waveguide, coaxial cable, fiber, grounding systems, weatherproofing materials, and associated telecommunications equipment.
• Align, test, and cross‑polarize microwave antenna systems.
• Perform tower rigging, crane signaling, lifting operations, and material handling activities.
• Operate and maintain associated civil construction activities including foundations and site prep.
