Job summary

NMS is seeking a Remote Security Officer/EMT III to support a remote camp on the North Slope of Alaska. The role prioritizes health, safety and security and operates in alignment with NMS’ mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities include patrolling, access control, incident reporting, emergency response, and transporting personnel or visitors as needed. Must hold EMT III, possess valid Alaska licenses, and pass pre-employment requirements. The on-site rotation is two weeks on, two weeks off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EMT III certification required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol buildings, areas or grounds to ensure security.
• Permit entry only to authorized individuals and verify visitors.
• Respond to emergencies to protect lives and property; coordinate with on-site staff.
