Job summary

STG Inc. in Alaska is seeking a Project Engineer to join the on-site project management team, supporting planning, coordination, and closeout of construction projects across remote Alaskan locations.

You will handle project controls, budgeting, estimating, scheduling, reporting, procurement coordination, and client communication, with periodic travel to field sites. You may lead small-scale projects or support larger programs under a Project Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.
• One year of construction or engineering project experience required.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and tracking activities.
• Support submittal management, RFIs, change requests, and review of project documents.
• Prepare progress updates and project documentation for internal and client use.
• Coordinate procurement of project materials and track costs to the budget.
• Travel to job sites to support field operations and project oversight.
