Job summary

Brice Environmental Services Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer I to work on-site in Anchorage, supporting the Construction Management Team in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. You will assist with field project management, documentation, and daily reporting to ensure safety and efficiency.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, 1–5 years construction experience, and willingness to travel to remote locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or science discipline required.
• 1-5 years construction experience required.
• Valid state driver’s license and must be qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of Brice Environmental’s Driving Policy.
• Ability to pass a drug, driving and background screenings.
• Ability to travel and work in remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction Team including the Construction Manager, Project Manager, Quality Control, and Superintendent with job related tasks.
• Assist with management, execution, and documentation of projects.
• Assist with completion of daily project reporting including timekeeping; environmental and permit compliance; daily reports.
• Assist with documenting daily work conditions.
• Assist with creating and filing project reports including inspection reports; job diaries, photographs, and video logs; and subcontractor reports as needed.
• Prepare correspondence as needed.
• Assist Construction Superintendent with updates to project schedule.
• Maintains effective communication and coordination among all project participants.
• Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
