Big Ray’s, a proudly Alaskan retailer with a long-standing local presence, seeks a friendly Customer Service Representative to assist customers, process transactions, and guide shoppers to the right gear for adventures. You will engage with patrons on the sales floor and over the phone, delivering helpful, end-to-end service.

You’ll maintain product knowledge, support merchandising, and assist with order fulfillment while upholding store standards and loss prevention practices in a busy Alaskan

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer service in person and on the phone.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Accurate handling of tender, data, and information.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess needs to suggest best merchandise solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of inventory, promotions, and features.
• Process sales and payments accurately; manage special orders.
• Retrieving, stocking, and organizing merchandise across locations.
• Package and process mail orders for fulfillment.
• Monitor floor to prevent loss and security risks.
• Store Open & Close duties: count tills, secure building, and arm security systems.
• Train new employees and act as PIC to handle issues when needed.
