Job summary

Big Ray's in Anchorage is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to help keep inventory accurate, receive and organize merchandise, and support shipping and fulfillment.

You will also back up the Shipping Specialist, assist with deliveries, and safely operate the company van when needed while coordinating with Retail and Corporate Outfitting teams to move products efficiently.

Qualifications

• Two years of retail experience, including inventory control preferred.
• Experience using technology and computer systems to complete daily tasks.
• Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and perform physical inventory counts.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming merchandise.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and physical inventory.
• Support shipping, receiving, and fulfillment operations.
• Serve as a backup to the Shipping Specialist and assist with delivery needs as needed.

Why This Role Matters

The Warehouse Specialist plays an important role in keeping Big Ray's operations running efficiently. You'll help ensure inventory accuracy, receive and organize merchandise, support shipping and fulfillment, and maintain an organized warehouse that keeps products moving to our stores and customers.

You'll also serve as a backup to the Shipping Specialist, assisting with shipping and delivery needs when necessary. This includes safely operating the company van and supporting deliveries.

Working closely with multiple departments, you'll help support both our Retail and Corporate Outfitting teams while contributing to the outstanding service Big Ray's is known for.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of retail experience, including inventory control preferred.

• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company insurance requirements to drive a company vehicle.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
