Job summary

ANTHC seeks Health Researchers to design and conduct health data studies, analyse findings, and disseminate results for Alaska Native health programs. The role involves grant writing, budget oversight, and collaboration with Tribal partners and agencies to advance research and support policy decisions.

You will contribute to multiple health focus areas, support HRRC approvals, and engage with Tribal health organizations to ensure scientific accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s in biological sciences or related field; professional work experience may substitute.
• Doctorate degree in biological sciences or related field; professional work experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Designs and conducts health data research aligned with Alaska Native health needs.
• Performs data collection, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of findings.
• Leads grant writing, project management and budget oversight for research projects.
• Represents ANTHC to partners and agencies; contributes to dissemination of research results.
