Job summary

The role emphasizes data management, modeling, and visualization using R and Python, with emphasis on collaboration, grant development, and disseminating findings through reports and publications.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree and two years of relevant research experience.
  • Experience conducting fieldwork in remote environments.
  • Ability to manage and analyze environmental data.
  • Strong report writing, presentations and publications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field, lab, and analytical research across Alaska.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project activities and partners.
  • Develop competitive grant and contract proposals.
  • Mentor research technicians and students.
