Harnish Group Inc. in Anchorage, Alaska seeks a Heavy Equipment Field Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain CAT equipment at our service department. The role requires mining equipment experience on haul trucks, dozers and loaders, plus a valid driver's license and Proficiency with Outlook.

Salary is hourly ($58.25–$62.25) and varies with skills and experience. The position offers daily on-site work at our Alaska branch with opportunities to travel for customer projects.

Qualifications

• Mining experience on haul trucks, dozers and loaders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook.
• A valid driver's license is required where applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment (remove, repair, assemble, install).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, powertrains, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Work with CAT diagnostic equipment and related tooling.
• Plan and control job costs.
• Investigate issues and recommend solutions.
