Qualifications

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and is occasionally required to lift as much as 100 pounds.
• Ability to travel for short periods of time and able to work in outside weather conditions.
• Employee works near moving mechanical parts and exposures to fumes, chemicals, and high/ precarious places.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance on heavy-duty equipment, e.g., tractors, trailers, forklifts, etc.
• Assist with major component swaps like hydraulic pumps, engines and transmissions.
• Must be able to apply and be issued a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card).
• Perform inspections in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
