Job summary

STG Inc. in Alaska seeks a Project Engineer to join the PM team, supporting planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and field oversight on remote sites. Travel up to 30% is expected to support progress and safety.

You'll work with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents and client expectations, with hands-on field collaboration and documentation support.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or engineering projects.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with project management software and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for project needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and tracking activities.
• Contribute to estimating, pricing, and data gathering.
• Support submittals, RFIs, change orders, and document reviews.
• Prepare progress reports and project documentation for internal and client use.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, tools, and equipment to meet schedule.
• Monitor costs and assist with budget tracking.
• Provide field support and QA/QC verification to ensure compliance with plans.
