Job summary

TEKsystems in Wichita, KS is seeking entry-level technicians for on-site roles installing alarms and related systems. The position requires housing within a 40-mile radius from Wichita and offers contract-to-hire prospects with potential conversion to full-time.

Training on ADT equipment will be provided, and prior field experience in cabling, wiring, or Geek Squad-like work is a plus. Expect hands-on installation of alarms, cabling, Cat5, and CCTV, with a strong emphasis on customer service.

Qualifications

• Background in skilled trades and mechanically inclined with a customer service mindset.
• Previous field experience such as cabling, wiring, residential installations, or Geek Squad work is a plus.
• Trained on ADT equipment will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Receive training and perform alarm installation tasks.
• Install alarms, cabling, Cat5 and CCTV as directed.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service on-site.

Description

Work will be done on site in Wichita and travel 40 mile radius from Wichita. People who come from a background in skilled trade professions and are mechanically inclined with a customer service mindset. Previous field experience is a big plus, like cabling, wiring, residential installations, or working for Best Buy Geek Squad. They will be trained on the ADT equipment. We have openings for contract-to-hire positions, where the end goal would be to convert you to ADT.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
