Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a field service technician based near Raleigh, NC to service banking security systems, vaults, safes, and access control. The role covers approximately a 2-hour radius from Raleigh, with on-site work and limited travel.

Daily duties include diagnosing issues, resolving customer problems, and maintaining professional communication. Expect about 4 service calls per day, with top performers handling 5–6 and lower productivity at 1–2 calls per day.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical aptitude for field service work.
• Experience with vaults, safes, access control, and CCTV systems.
• Ability to diagnose issues and de-escalate customer situations.
• Willingness to drive within a 2-hour radius of Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities

• Respond to approximately 4 service calls per day.
• Travel to customer sites within the Raleigh area.
• Provide independent, problem-solving service with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with team when needed and assist other technicians.

This is not a pure installation/project role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $73000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
