Job summary

Security Alarm Systems and Audio Video Integrator in Central Texas is seeking a skilled Security & Low Voltage Service Technician in the Round Rock/Austin area. The role focuses on installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security, surveillance, networking, and automation systems for residential and commercial clients.

Requirements include 4+ years of low-voltage experience, proficiency with security platforms, and the ability to read diagrams and installation docs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years installing, servicing, and troubleshooting low-voltage systems.
• Strong technical background in intrusion detection and electronic security systems.
• Experience with residential and commercial security systems, video surveillance, networking, and related low-voltage technologies.
• Ability to read and interpret system drawings, wiring diagrams, and project documentation.
• Proficient in testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Experience terminating Cat5e/Cat6 cabling and network devices.
• Adherence to installation standards, safety, and codes.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security, surveillance, networking, and automation systems.
