Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a dedicated Alarm Monitoring Associate in Kentucky to monitor all incoming alarm signals and document responses in our monitoring system. You will verify alarms, notify authorities or personnel as required, and support overnight drivers as needed.

Responsibilities include coordinating with technicians, making necessary code changes on alarm panels, and maintaining thorough records of actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to type at least 35 words per minute.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, email).
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and detail oriented.
• Must pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Monitors all incoming alarm signals.
• Provides non-peak hour support to route drivers and Risk Management.
• Works with technicians and installers in the field to verify alarm signals.
• Notifies authorities and key personnel based on alarm type.
• Performs code changes on alarm panels for each store location as needed.
• Maintains documentation of alarm responses in monitoring software.
• Interacts daily with stores and distribution center personnel to assist with arming/disarming alarms.
