Smart Shield Systems is seeking a skilled Security Systems Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot residential and commercial security systems in the San Diego area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with alarm systems and low voltage wiring and pride themselves on clean work and excellent customer service.

The role includes installing and configuring video surveillance, access control, and smart home devices, while maintaining safety and professional standards on job

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting security systems and alarms.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Must have own hand tools and ability to use company equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot alarm systems (panels, sensors, keypad, sirens).
• Install and configure video surveillance systems (cameras, mounts).
• Perform system upgrades and troubleshooting service calls.
• Run and terminate low voltage wiring in attic/walls.
• Install smart home devices and automation (locks, thermostats).
• Configure access control equipment and assist with app setup.
