Job summary
Guardian Protection Services, Inc. is seeking a field installation technician to install security, smart home, and CCTV devices for residential and commercial customers.
The role involves delivering a completed design and functionality while adhering to safety standards and providing high-quality service. Responsibilities include on-site installations, servicing existing systems, diagnosing issues, completing work orders, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with state/local
Qualifications
- Experience in a commercial setting; familiarity with fire systems; experience with security systems, low voltage wiring, including intrusion, CCTV, and Card Access systems preferable; experience with power tools and handheld tools preferable.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Driving Requirements: Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving history.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality service and installation work on an array of security products and services.
- Create exceptional customer interactions, interlaced with user education and caring.
- Ensure accurate control of assigned inventory and utilization.
- Accurately complete work orders, time records and maintain assigned work schedule.
- Obtain trade licenses and registrations in accordance with State and local regulations as required.
- Use high level of technical ability, coupled with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
