Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; industry experience considered in lieu of degree
• 3+ years managed care contracting and negotiating experience
• Experience building and nurturing provider relationships
• Knowledge of complex reimbursement methodologies and incentive-based models
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present to diverse audiences

Responsibilities

• Manages complex contracting and negotiations for fee-for-service and value-based reimbursements
• Builds relationships with provider partners to support local market strategy
• Coordinates with Claims Operations, Medical Management, Credentialing, Legal, and other matrix partners
• Develops network analytics and supports total medical cost initiatives
• Ensures accurate contract loading and implementation across systems
• Resolves provider service issues and escalated complaints
• Maintains knowledge of providers and competitive landscape in assigned territory
