Job summary

Meadowview Assisted Living Center, part of Saber Healthcare Group, seeks a dedicated Medication Aide to administer prescribed medications under nurse supervision. This role supports residents with compassionate care in a skilled nursing setting.

The position offers Full-Time or Part-Time schedules with day and night shifts, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package. Training and advancement opportunities are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state you work.
• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program if your state requires it.
• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Follow nursing standards, community policies and state requirements in medication administration.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse within the scope of practice for Medication Aides. The administration of medication shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the community policies, procedures, and practices, and the requirements of the state in which you operate.

Education/Qualifications:

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state in which you work.

• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program consisting of a written test, if your state requires.

• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Shift and Wage:

• Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunity Available

• Shifts Needed:

  • 7:00a - 3:00p

  • 3:00p - 11:00p

  • 11:00p - 7:00a

• Wage: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
