This position focuses on designing, automating, and supporting Akamai edge services to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable delivery of client applications. The role involves configuration of Akamai services, developing automation for provisioning and configuration, and integrating workflows into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5+ years of experience in network engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Akamai services including edge properties, routing, and security controls.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions for Akamai platform provisioning and configuration.
• Integrate Akamai capabilities into CI/CD pipelines using APIs and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Support production operations and participate in incident response related to edge services.
• Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to deliver Akamai-based solutions.
• Stay current with Akamai capabilities, automation tools, and industry best practices.
