The State of Vermont is seeking an Environmental Technician IV to support Aquatic Invasive Species programs in Montpelier. The role focuses on coordination, grant administration, data management, and outreach, with a field-season readiness emphasis.

Preference given to candidates with program coordination, grants experience, data handling, and environmental education. This is a temporary, part-time position with variable hours and no guarantee of 40 hours per week.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or natural resources with 3+ years at a technical level.
• OR Associate's degree with 5+ years in environmental/natural resources field.
• OR 2+ years as Environmental Technician III.

Responsabilidades

• Assist ANC Grant-in-Aid with grant records, awards, expenditures and reporting.
• Support with grant cycles: materials, submissions and recipient communications.
• Help prepare program summaries, reports, and data management duties.
• Coordinate the Vermont Public Access Greeter Program with partners and trainings.
• Update manuals, trainings, and outreach materials; manage contact lists and signage.
• Assist with AIS field activities, equipment prep, and seasonal staff coordination.
