The Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets seeks an Agriculture Water Quality Program Coord II - Limited Service in Montpelier to coordinate the VPFP and provide technical and financial assistance to farms. Bachelor's degree in agriculture, environmental conservation, or a related field.
Associate's degree with 2+ years' relevant experience, or high school diploma with 4+ years' experience.
Two years as a Water Quality Program Coordinator I.

Responsibilities

Administer grants and contracts to Vermont farms and technical assistance providers.
Coordinate technical assistance providers in delivering services to farms by set standards and deadlines.
Compile, enter and review farm nutrient management data across software programs.
Provide program outreach, trainings, and communications.
Respond to inquiries from farmers, partners and the public.
Prepare program information for documents, reports or outreach materials.
