Pratt & Whitney is looking for a Principal Engineer to be the lead advocate for airworthiness execution in multiple military programs. This essential role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to secure a U.S. government security clearance. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant experience in airworthiness and engineering.

The position is based in Hartford, CT, and offers competitive compensation, including a salary range from 107,500 to 204,500 USD, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in military airworthiness and/or civil certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary airworthiness advisor for military engine programs.
• Develop plans of compliance and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with U.S. Government customers for Military Flight Release.
