Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Airworthiness Engineer to develop and maintain airworthiness certification plans for developmental and production aircraft stores, supporting flight releases and customer platform integration across services.

You will guide technical reviews, develop bases of certification, and coordinate with DoW/FAA authorities, engineering teams, and customer representatives to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Aviation-related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years airworthiness engineering experience.
• Experience with DoW/FAA airworthiness authorities.
• Experience with DoW MIL-HDBK-516 and related processes.
• Experience with FAA airworthiness processes across life cycle.
• Store integration on DoW platforms.
• Ability to drive process improvements.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and author Airworthiness certification and conformance plans for developmental and production aircraft stores.
• Perform airworthiness planning, tracking, and verification in a digital environment.
• Guide technical reviews with other airworthiness engineers and disciplines.
• Translate customer requirements into criteria and derived requirements.
• Tailor Airworthiness processes to program needs throughout the lifecycle.
• Support Airworthiness Boards, technical interchange meetings, and risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain Airworthiness activities linked to system requirements and schedules.
• Proactively drive solutions to complex technical and execution challenges.
