Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Airworthiness Engineer to join the Test and Evaluation team, shaping certification plans for developmental and production aircraft and ensuring compliance across all stages of the program.

You will collaborate with engineers and external authorities to craft bases of certification, manage risks, and support flight releases in a fast-paced, highly innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Systems, or aviation-related engineering.
• 8+ years airworthiness engineering experience.
• Experience with DoW and FAA airworthiness authorities.
• Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-516 series documents throughout the lifecycle of developmental aircraft.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience coordinating airworthiness activities with DoW/FAA and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and author Airworthiness certification and conformance plans for developmental and production aircraft; support flight releases and Type Certification.
• Perform airworthiness planning, tracking and verification within a digital environment; craft bases of certification and means of compliance.
• Guide technical reviews across system design and development teams to ensure airworthiness alignment.
• Translate customer requirements into certification criteria and derived requirements.
• Maintain airworthiness activities in a digital system linked to requirements, schedules and risk assessments.
• Support Airworthiness Boards, technical meetings and risk assessments with engineers and partners.
• Develop creative solutions to airworthiness challenges and drive timely solutions.
