Job summary

TYLin Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Aviation (Airside Development) to lead planning, design, and delivery of complex airside infrastructure at major airports. You will coordinate with airport owners, airlines, regulators, and construction partners in active operational environments.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record at large commercial airports in the US or internationally, with multidisciplinary team leadership, regulatory knowledge, and PMP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 10+ years managing aviation infrastructure projects, including airside developments.
• Experience delivering projects at major commercial airports in the US or internationally.
• Strong knowledge of FAA airport design standards, ACs, airfield geometry and ops.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design and engineering teams.
• Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, quality and client expectations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Experience coordinating projects within active airport environments.
• Preferred: experience with PANYNJ, FAA AIP, ICAO standards, DB/DBB/CMAR/P3 methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of major airside infrastructure projects.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams across civil, pavement, electrical, architectural, and environmental disciplines.
• Serve as primary contact with airport owners, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, staffing, and risk plans.
• Coordinate design development, permitting, procurement, construction support, and closeout.
• Manage consultant performance, QA, project controls, and client communications.
• Coordinate with airport operations to minimize impacts during construction.
• Mentor junior PMs and staff to grow TYLin's Aviation practice.
