Job summary

City of Atlanta invites applications for a full-time photographer/videographer in the Department of Aviation. The role covers capturing events, creating promotional media, and producing broadcast-quality video programs for ATL.

You will manage equipment, lead studio and location shoots, and coordinate with internal divisions to stay aligned with developments at the airport. The position emphasizes advanced production techniques, asset management, and quality control to support management reports

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field; eight+ years in commercial photography, videography, editing or related field.
Experience producing promotional materials and broadcast-quality video.
Proficient with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

Provides video and photographic services for DOA functions and events.
Analyzes photo/video requirements from Marketing leadership to produce compelling media.
Operates and maintains video/photographic equipment and editing systems.
Directs and produces studio and on/off-location video/photo projects.
Trains and supervises staff as directed.
Maintains archive of airport photos and videos.
Ensures quality and consistency with the City’s corporate identity.
