Atlanta Housing seeks a talented Videographer to create, shoot, and edit video content for its social and digital platforms. You will lead concept development, on-site shooting, lighting direction, and post-production delivery for distribution across AH channels.

The role requires storytelling ability, strong Premiere editing, and the capacity to coordinate with Communications, Marketing & Public Engagement to deliver timely videos, including weekend activations and cross-department

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in a content production environment.
  • Familiarity with multiple camera systems and strong editing skills on Premiere.

Responsibilities

  • Shoot in a variety of formats for PR and marketing campaigns and internal use.
  • Coordinate with Public & Media Relations and Social and Digital Media teams to drive workflow and delivery of content.
  • Creatively tell visual stories through shooting and following story or action.
  • Setup and shoot network style interviews, including green screen.
  • Edit videos and highlights using Premiere, logging and editing quick turn videos and content.
  • Operate a variety of camera systems while also maintaining and ensuring accurate equipment storage and upkeep.
  • Prioritize workload to meet timelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position: Videographer
Department: Communication, Marketing & Public Engagement
Reports to: SVP, Communications, Marketing & Public Engagement
Salary Grade: M
Salary Range: 60,000-75,000

Position Summary: Atlanta Housing seeks a talented Videographer, who is responsible for content creation, videography, and editing. The ideal candidate is capable of storytelling and following live events while delivering network quality results. The Videographer is an integral part of AH’s storytelling process and will be responsible for producing high quality video projects from concept development, to camera/audio/lighting direction, and post-production editing/delivery to be posted across all of AH’s social and digital platforms. The Videographer is expected to coordinate with senior management and take ownership of video projects, capture activations/productions and edit (often immediately after) videos for social media, work weekends when needed, as well as coordinate across all departments of the agency. This includes the ability to share ideas and also be open to ideas within the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ability to shoot in a variety of formats for PR and marketing campaigns and internal use

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in a content production environment.
  • Familiarity working with multiple camera systems and strong editing skills on Premiere.
  • Strong shooting skills with experience directing talent.
  • Ability to independently manage all production aspects of a shoot, including multiple cameras, wired and wireless audio and lighting.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team.
  • Confidence to make quick decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to carry 40 lbs. of equipment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Working Conditions:

Works in an office environment. May require frequent bending, stooping, reaching and prolonged sitting and/or standing. May require regular lifting usually not exceeding 20 lbs. Some travel may be required.
