Job summary

Mission Yogurt, Inc. seeks a Sous Chef to join Timberline Steaks & Grille, reopening soon inside Denver Airport. This full-time leadership role requires managing back-of-house operations and ensuring high-quality menus and plates.

The role offers comprehensive benefits starting after 60 days of full-time employment, paid time off, parking or RTD pass, and growth opportunities. Airport experience is preferred; you will train and supervise kitchen staff and collaborate with the executive team.

Qualifications

• Candidates who possess at least two years of back-of-house restaurant management experience.
• Prior experience at an airport is preferred.
• Delivers superior food and beverage service and maximizes customer satisfaction.
• Upholds Mission Yogurt's safety, sanitation, and cleanliness policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Help in the preparation and design of all food and drink menus.
• Produce high-quality plates in both presentation and taste.
• Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely manner that meets our quality standards.
• Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary.
• Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
• Manage and train kitchen staff, establish a working schedule, and assess staff’s performance.
• Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately.
• Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards, including Health inspections.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers!
