• Monitor access points, restricted areas, and credential requirements per airport and government facility procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document activities.
• Assist with traffic, parking, and passenger flow while maintaining professional presence in a dynamic environment.

As an Airport Security Officer: Full Time Thursday-Sunday in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a government airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, tenants, and airport personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, restricted areas, and credential requirements in accordance with established airport and government facility procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Assist with traffic, parking, and passenger flow concerns while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic transportation environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
