Allied Universal in Kahului, HI is seeking an Airport Security Officer (Part Time) to protect travelers and staff at a government airport location. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service while following site procedures.

The schedule is Mon/Wed/Sat 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM with pay at $26.50 per hour. You will use computers or tablets to document observations and respond calmly to incidents, contributing to a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and staff.
• Perform unarmed patrols in terminal areas, parking facilities, and perimeters.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies, coordinating with airport personnel as needed.
• Adhere to site access-control procedures and document observations accurately.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders as required.
• Monitor access points, restricted areas, and public-facing locations in accordance with site policies, reporting security-related concerns and maintaining accurate activity documentation.
• Support a welcoming and orderly environment by providing directions, answering questions, and communicating professionally with diverse members of the public.

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM
• Wed: 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM
• Sat: 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an airport location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
