Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part-Time Airport Security Officer in Kahului, HI. You will provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and personnel, and conduct patrols while reporting security concerns and following established procedures.

This role offers flexible Wed/Thu shifts, a valid driver’s license, and opportunities to grow within a dynamic team dedicated to safety and service.

Qualifications

• 1 year of security-related experience or more.
• A valid driver’s license is required per driver policy.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must pass background check, physical, and drug screening per policy.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors and personnel while following site procedures and, when appropriate, emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals and public areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity and potential security issues; report observations through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and coordinate with airport/government personnel.
• Assist with directing individuals, providing information, and maintaining accurate incident documentation.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government aviation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, employees, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, public areas, parking facilities, roadways, and perimeter areas, with working conditions varying by location.
• Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, and potential security-related issues; report observations through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and coordinating with appropriate airport and government personnel.
• Assist with directing individuals, providing information, and maintaining accurate activity and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
