Allied Universal is seeking an Airport Security Officer (Part Time) in Kailua Kona, HI. You will provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and government personnel while following site-specific procedures and emergency response plans.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, public spaces, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with access-control procedures in accordance with airport and site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
• Prepare clear, timely reports and maintain accurate activity logs for security-related incidents, observations, and patrols.

Pay Rate: $25.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)

• 18+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
